This may be a longer than a comment. But WOW Book 2 did not disappoint!! I like it more than Book 1!! I want to say Thank YOU for not making a love triangle. Really... I'm an avid YA reader and to tell you the truth it's getting old. I LOVE the fact you allowed Sadie to question things when it comes to relationships (b/c we all know we do) and the patience Rayne has with her. LOVE the fact they had a "talk" about intimacy. You see it in books, but for some reason you captured it so well. I can't go on how much I've enjoyed the book. Heck I feel sorry for Ash even. The whole scene when *SPOILER OMITTED*. Oh WOW!! I started crying... I was thinking what a ******!! And Hamlin's *SPOILER OMITTED*...Oh wow!! It was written PERFECT! Felt like I was watching Dr. Phil for a moment. :) I can't wait for Book 3. I can't wait to see what happens to Hamlin/Sadie's mom/Ash/Voss/and of course Sadie and Rayne. I LOVE what you've done with these two. Thank you for your amazing creative work!! I loved the action, the adventure, the creativity and the romance of your stories and the characters themselves. And the thing I liked most about your books is that they are clean. There is no foul language and there is no smut. I so appreciate a good, clean read, and those are rather hard to come by these days. Every once in a while I come across a writer that is such a great storyteller, I can't put the book down, I forget where I am, what time it is, and if there's anyone around me. I don't notice typos (if there are any), and I am oblivious to any flaws in the work (unless they are blatant), and I desperately hope there is another book coming with these same characters. Christie Anderson is such a writer. I was lost in the world of Deep Blue Secret and fascinated by the way she intertwined nature with magic. I desperately want to see more of this world! |

I immediately liked Sadie. She is kind and just an all around good role model. We need more heroines like this in YA books. Too often in my reading I find weak air headed female characters that have no redeeming qualities. I love the fact that I can recommend this book to anyone and not have to tell them to watch out for page such and such. Christie Anderson has done a great job of creating characters that have qualities worth emulating. |

I bought your book for as soon as I saw that you were a graduate of BYU. I hoped that you would write things that would be of high standards and that I would be able to freely share with my teenage daughters. THANK YOU for doing exactly that. Once I read the first page I was hooked on these books, they are amazing. The love story between Rayne and Sadie is adorable and special.
